Well, there were a couple things in that scenario that were ironic. The first was probably the fact that I criticized others for being such ‘tourists’. The second was that I was gawking at all those animals, when in fact deep down I knew that they were always watched, forever trapped and never really going to experience what it feels like to run free. It’s actually sad.
